On the second Saturday in October (this year 10th October 2026), it is world hospice day. The hospice movement is aiming at improving the situation of dying people.

I signed the “Charta zur Betreuung Sterbender”, and hereby, I want to emphasize the importance of this topic. The support of hospice associations (and also active volunteering), for example Ökumenischer ambulanter Hospizdienst Regenbogen e.V. in Wassenberg, can help to improve the situation.
